Dr. Silvia Allegrini was born and lives in Pisa, Italy.
After her dental degree from University of Siena in 1986, she has received a CAGS and M.Sc.D. in Orthodontics from Boston University in 1991. She received her Specialty in Orthodontics from University of Siena in 2000. She is in private practice in Pisa since 1991.
Since 2001 maintains a part time teaching position as Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Boston University, Boston.
She has been President of the Italian Society of Bidimensional Technique and she is currently scientific advisor. She is Vicepresident of the European Federation of Orthodontics . As 2016 President-elect of the Italian Society of Orthodontics she is on the Council from 2013 to 2018.
She is a member of the European Angle Society. She is an experienced lecturer on clinical orthodontics. Her main interests are Class II and III malocclusions, timing of treatment, cleft.
